Why Marina Bay Sands Light and Water show is special ?
The great thing about the light and sound show at Marina Bay is that it is visible from both sides of the water. If you are standing in front of the hotel looking towards the city you can hear the music and see the projected images on the water fountains. From the city side looking towards the hotel you see not only the water fountains but also a series of lasers which light up Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum.
What to explore at Marina Bay Sands Light and Water show?
These light shows in Singapore include the stunning OCBC Garden Rhapsody at Gardens by the Bay, Wonder Full at Marina Bay Sands and the majestic Crane Dance at Sentosa. All are worth seeing if you are nearby, and given the proximity of Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay, you could even see two in a row.
With so many great backdrops it isn’t surprising that on any night of the week you will find somewhere in Singapore lit up in a dazzling display of multi-coloured lights to the sound of well-known tunes or original compositions. From incredible laser shows that light up the Marina Bay seven-nights-per-week (from Marina Bay Sands), to huge man made trees that shine bright across the city for miles, all these Singapore light shows are free for all to watch and make great entertainment for all the family.

Tips for you
I was amazed. Never thought that light and water with skyscrapers and the bay as the background could deliver a very sweet performance. It's also free! Bravo.
“Great FREE Show” We were advised by our hostel owner to go to watch the show as it is free and in a great location but what we saw was better than imagined. I have never seen anything like it - you are able to watch a performance that is projected on to water spray. The show lasts for around 15 minutes and is certainly worth your time and will set you up for an evening exploring Singapore at. It is also worth noting that there is another light and sound show in the Gardens by the Bay (the other side of the Marina Bay complex) which is also free and starts just before so you have time to do both!!
