Why Mango Bay Resort is special ?
Mango Bay Beach Resort, on the eve of the Millennium two Englishmen and an Australian sat down to create their dream project on Vietnam’s prized island of Phu Quoc, is the result of that dream. The 20 hectare plot has been gently encouraged as an extended garden and holiday location for over fifteen years. The personal vision that has wrought the mature garden out of the wilderness has also built the delightful accommodation and inspirational eating areas that are a hallmark of Mango Bay today.
Mango Bay Beach Resort has been built on both an intimate and visionary scale. Visitors to Mango Bay often feel like well known guests, only to return again and again.
What to explore at Mango Bay Resort?
For a beachfront holiday off the beaten track, you have to look no further than this eco-friendly resort. Explore the nearby terrain on a bike, visit the craft villages, head into the water for some excellent dives, and sit by the beach for some of the most amazing sunsets. Fifteen minutes north of Phu Quoc's airport, the island’s first eco-friendly, low density resort is driven by a passion to protect the environment and a strong commitment towards island culture. The bungalows’ al-fresco bathrooms harness solar-powered hot water. The Mango Bay Resort offers a uniquely relaxing atmosphere.

Tips for you
We had 4 nights at Mango Bay Resort which drew to a conclusion our 16 days in Vietnam and was a wonderful way to conclude our amazing holiday. Our accommodation in Mango Bay Resort was a lovely beach house with views directly to the beach and sea and no more than 30 seconds stroll to step in to the sea. The room was great and the unusual outdoor bathroom was an exhilarating experience. The staff at Mango Bay Resort were all exceptional, so polite and helpful with permanent smiles on their faces. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was fantastic with a great variety and excellent quality and tastes. Having access to the free use of snorkelling equipment, kayaks and cycles all helped to make it a perfect 4 nights stay and I would certainly recommend it.
