Why Man Lai Man Ramen is special ?
The restaurant has a systematic system. Upon reaching, you have to register on their waiting list for a table, then look at the menu and think of what you want to order. The server will call you when your table is ready. Inside the restaurant, another server will be asking for your order. It’s a rather speedy process.
The food here is nothing earth-shattering but decent and filling. It’s also chock full of veg (pak choi, beansprouts, spring onion, cabbage and bamboo) and you feel you’ve had a pretty healthy bite to eat once you’re done, unlike with some of the delicious but thoroughly oil and msg-laden hongshao-type (紅燒) soup noodles around town
You should order its famous: the Deep-fried Beancurd, Cold Beancurd with Japanese Sauce, Cold Boiled Egg, Doubled Braised Pacific Saury, Fried Pork Chop Noodle in Pork Stock and BBQ Porkloin Noodles served in Pork Miso Soup.
How to get to Man Lai Man Ramen?

Tips for you
“A very satisfying meal” 5 of 5 starsReviewed June 3, 2014 We were in Beitou on a Monday so the line was not too long during lunch hours. We waited about 10 minutes before being led inside. It was a basic little shop, clean but no frills. We ordered two ramens, one with an extra plate of pork chop and one with extra seaweed. I am not a regular with Ramen. For me, most of the time the broth is too greasy or too salty. I recall going to Ippudon in Langham Place in HK a few months ago, where I couldn't even finish half of my order. But the broth at Man Lai was just right - I happily finished the last drop. I also ordered a hotspring egg, a popular appetizer. The egg was very yummy. But remember it's quite runny and barely cooked, so for people who frown upon uncooked egg, it may not be a good choice. The shop is less than 5 minutes' walk from the Xinbeitou MRT station. We will go back if we are in the area again
