Why Madame Lan Restaurant is special ?
Madame Lan is a newly open restaurant located at the beginning of Bach Dang street. Its brilliant architecture is reminiscent of traditional Vietnamese buildings with red roofs, yellow walls, wooden tables and chairs. It is inspired by Hoi An ancient town and the old quarters of Ha Noi. Even in its busiest days, you will have no problem finding a nice space for yourself, indoor or outdoor.
The menu features a large selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes, all are carefully cooked and served.

Reviews
This restaurant was so good that my family went to this restaurant twice in a day, lunch and dinner, having the same table. The food was very traditional Vietnamese. We chose a table that was outdoor near the road, under the umbrella, very nice. The rice paper roll dish was the best, with green vegetables, fried scrambled eggs and shrimps. Price was very reasonable. The waiters or waitresses did not speak much English. The service varied depending on who served. Some were friendly and attentive even they did not speak good English. Knowing how to use body language was important.Definitely will go back again if next time in Da Nang.
Our driver took us to a place that we did no like and as such we ended up driving around for a while. Upon seeing Madam Lan both my wife and I said that this was the place we wanted to try. Behind the entrance it opens up into a patio with chairs and tables. If it is too hot, you can always go into the A/C'd building. The kitchen seems to be divided into a number of units, each preparing something different. The food was excellent and we ended up ordering and eating too much. As it was quite hot, the cold beers were a blessing. The service is very nice although it is a bit difficult to communicate with the staff in English; once the manager came over and handled our order, it was OK. The setting, the friendly staff and, above all, the good food make this a place that I would not only recommend, but one I will return to if we ever go back to Da Nang. Some of the reviews stated that the noise from the street was bothering them. I can only say that it was OK and actually an integral part of a great experience.
