Very close proximity to Luneta Park. Ambience is very Filipino oriented. I love the artwork and the Filipino artistry showcased at every corner. The owners are very friendly and hands on with their staff and clients. Enterntainment was excellent. Performenrs were actually Theater Actors professional actors. Most of all food was great!! I ordered Binakol which is a chicken soup. Good size portions. Worth the trip and a great way to showcase the Filipino Hospitality esp to foreigners and Balikbayans!

There are many many restaurants in Manila - serving good food. But Mabuhay Restop is one of a kind. It is family run - menu is based on the long time family favorite,What makes Mabuhay Restop unique is it aims to be a showcase of Filipino culture - a mentor to Filipino painters. For those who are Balikbayan feeling nostalgic in Luneta and Rizal Park, Mabuhay Restop is just walking distance at TM Kalaw. Have dinner there and enjoy the Variety Show -a comedy show that gives you a good laugh and make you feel "Pinoy" again.Lastly, the most important of all, Mabuhay Restop is a hub for humanitarian activities. It has played a major role in developing social enterprise through GKonomics - developing livelihood program for the poor not only in Manila but throughout the Philippine Region. The small gift shop at the ground floor featuring local handmade souvenirs are but a few sample products of this social enterprise.Mabuhay Restop - we wish you great success in your endeavor to provide authentic Filipino food and promoting our rich culture. More power to you in your endeavour to better the lives of many people. Mabuhay!.
