Why Lu-Li Island is special ?

Lu-li Island is one of five islands in Honda Bay that has white sandy beaches and clear water. Luli meaning "Lulubog, lilitaw.", it got its name from the tagalog word Lulubog (sink) and Lilitaw (show). One of the famous islands in Honda Bay for island hopping tours, Luli is actually composed of 3 sandbars. Luli Island is famous among tourists because of its attitude “now you see it, now you don’t”. It means sinks and arises. During low tide, its sand bar is visible while on high tide it sinks underwater leaving only the houses on it are visible.

What to explore at Lu-Li Island?

At Luli Island, colorful flags dotted the curve of the sandbar, making it easier for people to spot its location once it disappears under the water. Many things to discover in this beautiful island, you and your family can swim and relax on the beach with white sand or you can diving to discover the beauty of seabed. Moreover, enjoying great food with buffet lunch. This place is primarily a snorkeling spot. So prepair everything beforehand, and bring out the bread and off you go to feed the fish. You will have a certain ticklish feel when having these tiny creatures dart forward and nibble at the bread in your hands, until there is nothing left, and they’re still nibbling at your fingertips.

Fun, but not a destination all by itself. Our visit was part of a package while island hopping. Clear, blue water and clean sand are always a great combination.

This is a tiny island that disappears with the tide. Snorkelling not that good unless you feed the fish. The diving board is great fun, wasn't much else to do here, did it as part of a tour.
