After catching food poisening two nights in a row from food that didn't even taste good in Vang Vieng, we didn't want to take any chances and opted for the slightly more pricey Living Room. It was really worth every penny!!! My boyfriend had the goulash (8 Euro for a really, really large portion) and I had the apple, carrot, yoghurt salad (I think 3 Euro or so, but really amazing!!) and the pasta with pesto (5 Euro if I remember correctly). Pasta was really good with real italian basil in the pesto! For once also the service was great! Everything came fast and everyone (especially the owner) was so friendly! Yes, you can go and have pasta for 2 Euro in Vang Vieng, but I probably won't taste good and keep you in the bathroom during the night. So my advice while staying there at least treat you once to a meal at Living Room! You won't regret it!!!
