Tips for you
It's as cheap as a hawker stall (9rm for lunch, 10rm for canned beer, without the service charge) but in a super cool and clean setting. Plus, the food is delicious.
The owner was friendly and greeted us warmly when we came in for lunch. We had to wait a bit as the restaurant was full, but it was only for a little while. The place is decorated with traditional, interesting drawings & knick-knacks. Feels like you took a step back into the past. The lunch set has a reasonable price if you don't want to call dishes to share. Tried the ayam berempah (less than RM15), it was pretty tasty. Could taste the santan and it was slightly spicy. Had sago pudding with gula melaka for dessert and it was good as well.
