Why Leitaria I Son is special ?
Leitaria I Son (義順牛奶公司) needs no further introduction. It is a humble little establishment well known for its milk based puddings and desserts. Remember to try the Ginger Milk Pudding (MOP 16) and “Xiong Pei Tan Nai” (Double Skin Steamed Milk Pudding) – extremely smooth and silky and the taste of milk is so creamy and fresh.
You should try ít famous: the Steamed Egg Pudding

I have been there twice with my daughter. The milk pudding is fantastic, delicious and very tasty. Very different compared with the one served in Hong Kong. It is a little bit priced MOP 30 but worth it. Try the cold milk pudding. They also served the hot ginger milk pudding but I prefer the normal one. Give it a try!
The Leitaria I Son shop on Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro shop southeast of Senado Square has moved to a new location on the side street next to St. Dominic's Church at the far end of Senado Square. You will find an updated but familiar green sign with the cow at the small alley corner just beyond the facade of St. Dominic's facade. Its less than 30 second walk from the church. We stopped at the new Leitaria I Son outlet recently. They have a ground floor and upstairs seating area, remains just as tiny and crammed as their previous location. Best news, the milk pudding tastes just as good.Traditional milk pudding served cold and hot ginger milk pudding were both very good, as they have been over the years. Prices are up around 25% over the past few years, now costing MOP30-35 for desserts, but servings remain affordable for those wanting to sample this local speciality food here in Macau. Leitaria I Son remains a great place to find if you are want to experience unique and genuine Macau food stops during your holiday.
