Why Lam Tong Restaurant is special ?
Lam Tong Restaurant Mui Ne is very popular among backpackers. Sandwiched in between the fancy-pants resorts of Mui Ne, but this family-run beachfront restaurant serves some of the best food in town. Fresh seafood is popular and affordable – the place is always busy with a mix of travellers and locals. There are also some tables right on the sand.
Another big plus about this Lam Tong Restaurant (aka Popular Restaurant), beside the nice food, is how they are located right on the beachfront. Provides great view of windsurfing and kite boarding on the Mui Ne beach, especially during the mid morning and evenings.
Must try dishes:
Prawns with garlic
Squid and prawn noodles with mixed vegetables
Spinach and garlic salad
Spring rolls all served with kovely spicy sauces

Tips for you
The old story, if the locals are eating there, odds are its good. We said it was holiday time in our Tien Dat Resort review, bad time, we couldn't get in on 5 occasions due to crowding, there would have to have been 200+ people every time we went there. You go down a little lane to get there, but its worth it, you can get a table right over the ocean. Beers cold food is excellent and service is good, if you want 5 star tables and chairs, this is not your place. You can pick your own seafood from tanks on the way in, will go again.
