fter arriving in Kampot at around 15.30 and spending a couple of hours finding accommodation, we spent about 2 hours looking for somewhere nice to eat, to be honest we bumped in to La Java Bleue early in our walk we took note of the restaurant and carried on to the riverside. After walking along the river it became very apparent that the better quality restaurants where in fact on the roads just behind the riverside so we turned and headed back 1 or 2 streets. We nearly ate in the Nola Restaurant but it appeared to be closed or just closing, anyway 1 turn to the left and we found La Java Bleue again. After looking at the menu we decided to sit down there for dinner, we decided to share a plate of Sword Fish three ways it was delight full then for main we both had Prime Fillet one with a Roquefort sauce and the other with a Kampot Pepper Sauce. My wife had salad with her main and mine came with Rosti Potatoes we had a couple of beers before the meal then had a couple of grasses of Rose wine. We finished the meal with the cheese board. What a wonderful evening and the owners were very pleasant to talk to I can see us returning back to this restaurant in the future.
