Why Kyoto Hana Hostel is special ?
Kyoto Hana Hostel is an advanced Japanese style hostel located around a 5 minute walk from Kyoto Station. Most of the private rooms are traditional Japanese style with 'tatami' mats and sets of 'futon' bedding. Also many of them attach an independent bathroom and a toilet.
The 8 bed mixed dorm and the 6 bed female dorm have unique and roomy lofts. Guests sleeping on the top use the loft and unlike ordinary bunk beds, you can keep all your luggage up on the top. Taking the bottom, you can sleep in an independent single bed under the loft. Each has a personal bed light and an power point.
What to explore at Kyoto Hana Hostel?
Hana Hostel has a kitchen and dining space with electronics, tableware, cooking utensils and seasonings. Coffee and tea are also available for free.
Every private room has a free internet connection (cable/wifi). If you don't have your own computer, you can use 3 guest computers in the common room for 100 yen / 30 minutes.
There are a lot of historical sites near the hostel. Also as it is very close to Kyoto Station and the bus terminal, you can easily go everywhere in/around the city by bus/subway/train. Also, restaurants, super markets, ATM machines, post office and what have you are with in a walking distance.

It just takes 5 min walk from JR Kyoto station to get here and 1 minute walk from the nearest bus stop
