Pros: Lovely soft quiet beach. Really nice lunch provided and really good staff! Cons: Too many people on the trip, speedboat was too full. Snorkeling wasn't brilliant, but the company cant guarantee the fish will come out to play! (plus we may have seen more during the morning session) We booked our trip with Patessia Speed Boat and picked up from Twin Lotus at 08:20. After 30mins or so of picking people up from various parks of the island we headed off to Koh Rok, which was another 40min. During the visit you're offered water or cans of coke. We picked up a lot of people! Once we got there we were asked whether we would like to go snorkeling or stay on the beach. My husband and I decided to take some snorkels and stay on the beach. The majority of people went snorkeling which meant there was about 6 people on the beach in total. We lay and relaxed on the beach, watching the tiny crabs for about an hour and a half before everyone else returned. At about 11:45 lunch was served. There were a few options: rice, sweet and sour vegetables, chicken wings, and chicken wings in a sauce. None of it was spicy and it was all really nice. There was some chilli sauce should you like a bit of spice. There was also some melon and pineapple available. We had a bit of everything and really enjoyed it. After lunch, we got some more time to enjoy the beach before we packed up and head to another location to do some snorkeling. After 45 mins we packed up and headed back to the hotel. We were offered more fruit on the way back. We were back at our hotel by 1530. There's a few seats in the front of the boat which aren't covered and can get very hot. The people that sat there complained but because the boat was so full there wasn't really anywhere else to sit.
