Happen to just pass this little gem when walking to Osaka castle with my boyfriend. Have to say I was really glad we found it as it was a lovely little treat in a perfect location. The tea room was quite small so we had to wait but the que went fairly quick and the waitresses were very efficient to clear tables and get the next customers sitting and ordered. Being a Brit myself and having experienced many afternoon teas I have to say this was very nice and well done considering we were not in England. The sandwiches were delicious but were more like squares than finger length. Would have preferred more as they got eaten so quickly and easily. The scones were really nice. We ordered the plain despite the various options. The only thing I would say about these is it would have been better if they were warmer and also be aware that they give you the tiniest bit of clotted cream which is a disappointment. You barely realise you got any as it is surrounded by normal cream which is just not the same. I loved the style of the tea room. They tried to make it very vintage and olde English. We had the table near the window which showed a beautiful view of the park opposite. Overall very pleased!!
