Why Joma Bakery Cafe is special ?
JoMa Bakery Cafe offers comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors, good wifi, great views from the location on the river. You can watch the slow life of Luang Prabang passing through at JoMa Bakery Cafe
Canadians run this cheap, friendly self-service restaurant, where an in-house bakery turns out delicious pastries, pizzas, salads, and French bread. The homemade soups are excellent, as are the breakfast burritos and wraps. It is a real treat to have good coffee, some really good western options for lunch, and great desserts. The oat french toast with mango for Sunday brunch is to die for. If you just need a break from rice and noodles, this is it.

Tips for you
I spent 5 days last week in LPA - my first. Been to both outlets. Ambience-wise, the one near the Post Office, being set up in an old colonial building is definitely much more charming and cozy. Menu-wise, the two are identical. Reuben was really good. So was the coconut ice-cream. Service-wise, the two stores were both nothing great to be mentioned and I personally believe that they do definitely need a lot more training to streamline service over the counter and in busing tables. But I guess the major concern to many reviewers and to me is about pricing. At 12,000 Kips for a small cup of Americano, this is the most expensive in town. Yes, JOMA is nice but I guess they could charge less for a cup of coffee.
