You should try the restaurant's very own Nasi Liwet. I ordered this anytime I had lunch/dinner here.

A family restaurant famous for their Gurame Goreng & Gurame Bakar (deep fried & grilled goramy). I also love their Nasi Liwet (rice cooked in a pot with salted fish & chilli) and Tumis Pucuk Labu (sauteed pumpkin sprouts).Being a Sundanese myself, going there is more like having comfort food, I often go there for a lunch with family. The interior is quite humble & simple, service is good, all waiters/waitresses are very friendly. Price is very reasonable. We usually order Nasi Liwet, Gurame Goreng, Fried Chicken, Pecel Lele (deep fried catfish), Tumis Pucuk Labu & assorted raw vegetables (yeah, we do eat a lot haha) plus drinks they cost around Rp 300 thousand. The place can be very crowded during lunch hour, I suggest to make a reservation if you're planning to go in a big group.

Was invited to a friend's birthday dinner at their Denpassar Restaurant (yes, they have 2) on 5/11/14. Loved it so much we had to go again. Luckily there is one not far from Kuta. Was absolutely delicious and cheap as. A whole fish for approx $7. Just wish they had air conditioning and not just fans...but it's Bali so you expect it to be hot.

Nice place to have a meal with friend or business associates. Food is good and services is fast. Clean and cozy setting. Portion is small, but do try their flying gourami and also the rice that served with steam anchovies.
