Why Hong Kong Brewhouse is special ?

Hong Kong Brew House offers Central's most extensive beer list, including Fuller's London Pride and Organic Honey Dew on tap. Set on two levels, enjoy the brews, great food and watching the action on the street from the ground floor bar, or head below ground for live sports on the big screens, private dining and DJs playing every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The Hong Kong Brewhouse is home to Hong Kong’s best selection of beers, including the whole arsenal of beers from the Hong Kong brewing companies microbrewery. A simple interior and peanut shells on the floor make it the ideal place to relax and try some of their excellent beers. They also have a patio outside, to take advantage of the warm weather and serve American food.

What to explore at Hong Kong Brewhouse?

The buzz: Despite its relocation from the trendier part of upper Lan Kwai Fong, the Brew House’s new position has maintained the same charm as its last incarnation.

The décor: Cozy and comfortable. Faded black-and white photos of old Hong Kong line the walls, while the ever-present peanut shells line the floor. The New York-style basement, with an exposed brick finish and dark corners make it the perfect place to hide away from the crowds up on D’Aguilar Street while you sip on a thirst-quenching pint.

The drinks: Don’t be overwhelmed by the large menus, as they’re relatively easy to navigate; simply turn to the last page and select a brew from the biggest beer catalog in LKF. This extensive range of micro-import beers offers varieties from across the globe. They’re also the only bar in Asia to serve Fuller’s London Pride and Organic Honey Dew on tap.

The music: A classic-rock soundtrack that will have you playing air guitar in no time. To change the mood, a host of DJs spin dance music in the basement every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

The bar is the only place in town that serves Fuller’s London Pride and Organic Honey Dew on tap. The latter is a sweet and refreshing brew that should appeal to all palates.

We stumbled across this bar on our first night when they were hosting a fundraising comedy night for victims of typhoon hyan and went back a couple of times during our trip. Good atmosphere, decent happy hour cocktails, good choice of bottled beers (although never any Hong Kong beer in stock) and monkey nuts...we didn't eat here but did enjoy soaking up the street life with a pre dinner drink.

I was lucky enough to meet Jun Cruz the General Manager who together with his staff (especially Stella) proceeded to ensure my girlfriend and I had an evening to remember. This is a great place to unwind, drink some great beers (very extensive including my UK favourites), eat good quality food and listen to some awesome sounds. The night we were in (Thursday) they had a Philippine duo playing some great songs. Comprised of a beautiful lady singer accompanied by a very able guitarist (played in some big Hong Kong bands I am told) I first noticed their sounds (they were downstairs) whilst upstairs in the bar, the music was being piped through a great sound system to those in the bar. Just had to go look for myself and they were awesome, I highly recommend a visit for the music alone but with the beer and food as well it makes for a great night. It was my girlfriends birthday weekend after we had flown over from Thailand, I am just so glad I got to visit my favourite drinking establishment. Jun and his staff have certainly got the magic touch in making a good brewing establishment even better. Thanks for the memories

Peanut shells all over the floor, food is really heavy, but Brew House won't do you wrong... The chicken wings, sausage combos, and mac and cheese are always reliable. Also has good live music nights
