Reviews
The place is less than two hours from Manila on a good day. The P2,000 per head fee includes buffet lunch and snacks. Bring your swimsuits and enjoy basking in unspoiled nature. The fee might be steep for some but this goes into the maintenance of the place and prevents the unruly crowds from vandalizing the place.Take lots of pictures and find a quiet place to meditate and enjoy the natural beauty around you. The place is frequented by Korean tourists which says a lot for this attraction.
If you are going to drive to this location, it's a bit tricky. Their website states to take the Southern Luzon Expressway but upon this highway, you never see any signs with that title. It has been abbreviated to SLEX...which, of course, not knowing this, I missed the exit and got lost. But once on this SLEX, you just head almost to the end to exit 50 (Batangas exit) and you will pass through several small towns until you each Alaminos City. They use landmarks on their description on how to find their location and there isn't many signs up, so you really need to pay attention. But, for an hour and a half drive out of congested Manila, it can be an interesting experience. Leave by 10am from Makati, arrive in time for the lunch buffet that is included which is very good. They have singers serenading the visitors during their meal. Then off to the springs which you have several options of where to experience. The main falls, is nicely done and feels like you are in the middle of a rainforest although the water isn't hot..it can be described as cool or lukewarm. Still, its nice to get away from the city..and they provide a 3pm snack..also very good. Worth the entrance fee...!!
