We walked through this park on our way from the Monorail station to the Open-air Farmhouse Museum. It was Saturday 4 April, the height of the cherry-blossom season, and the entire park was a picture of pink and white blossom. As well, the flower-beds were all flourishing, with tulips and other bright blooms. Best of all, from our point of view, was seeing all the Japanese families enjoying the sunny day with their little kids, playing games, picnicking etc. Just a lovely place for anyone who, like us, enjoys parks and seeing folk enjoying simple pleasures in beautiful surroundings.
