Although few flowers were in bloom in our mid-May visit, the surroundings are peaceful and beautifully landscaped. A very attractive museum of contemporary artist Han Meiling is in the heart of the botanical garden. He does paintings, calligraphy, sculpture and anything else you can imagine. Definitely worth a half hour visit.

We visit this place in the Autumn, you know, it looked like nothing was growing. But it still a good place to go in the sunny day. it is a pretty large place where you can take a few hours to get away from bustle and hustle of daily life. people came here mostly were couples or family (with young children). It is certainly a ideal place for family to have a picnic when it is sunny. Some were tourists, just like me.My friend told me that I would have seen the Osmanthus if I could come earlier. The fragrance of Osmanthus is very charming.Anyway, I think I can come again when the Osmanthus blossom in full bloom.
