This restaurant overcharges on everything. Tea is mandatory. They were not flexible, in that we were charged the tea regardless if we drank it or not, even if we asked if we could order other drinks on the drinks list that surpassed the price of the tea. As a result, we only drank tea to make it worthwhile. Additionally, we were forced to pay for cucumbers, black fungus and lotus mooncakes which came with the seating arrangement - not complimentary. We did not want to appear impolite after being seated. If we had known, we would have eaten somewhere else. They must have charged us probably 25RMB for each plate or something. My friend and I ended up paying 277RMB. We ordered a serve of fried hor fun 48RMB and fatty BBQ roast pork (not a lot of meat) 88RMB from the menu. So I can only guess that they slabbed on an extra 141RMB on miscellaneous items, such as tea, and three ''not complimentary'' mandatory cold dishes. Way overpriced for my friend and I! To be fair and to give credit when due, the fried hor fun was tasty, but the BBQ roast pork was a let down - it had a lot of fat and minimal pork meat, the saving grace was that the roasted skin was thin and crunchy. Service was not great either. We had to ask them for the menu and they seemed rude when we didn't order any seafood. We just wanted something simple to eat before my friend went to the airport. I am generally not a picky diner, and generous when it comes to places to eat, but for this place, i would just recommend to come to look at the seafood on display as the other reviewers mentioned ... unless you really want pay premium for pearl harbour view, which I think is warranted if you think it is worth it. Although, the fact that it is open 24hours is convenient for when you want to eat something when everywhere is closed. I personally think the place is overpriced and I would not particularly recommend people to come here for a simple meal. I mean, 288RMB for a sashimi platter sounds ok if I didn't know any better. I will give it the benefit of the doubt and suggest maybe stick to eating seafood.
