Why Green Mango Restaurant is special ?

The Green Mango Hoi An, the youngest sister to the Green Mango family, opened its door on 16th August 2011 in Hoi An ancient town. Enjoy the exquisite Asiatic creations of owner Chef Hai whose other Green Mango venues have been awarded 'One of Asia's Finest' by the Miele Guide and a Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor.

The cuisine is a fusion of French cooking techniques and fresh local ingredients by a Vietnamese chef. All diners are presented with bread baked fresh before service and there is a wide range of cocktails, spirits and wines. Top shelf single malts such as Laphroaig are available as are boutique beers such as Cooper's Ale from Australia.

Looking for somewhere with authentic vietnamese we were a little dissappointed because it was more western style and food for the westrn palate than asian eg pizza on the menu. Don't get the wrong idea because we did enjoy the food and the prices were much in line with other restaurants. But we thought that the name of the restaurant would be synonymous with food from the region. It wasn't. We found small restautants and cafes across the river and outside of the old centre offering authentic dishes. Also the lighting inside restaurant could be much brighter so you can actually see what you are eatimng/drinking. Thank you.

Specially, the cuisine is a fusion of French cooking technique. Pizza made by the chef of this restaurant is the most my favourite choice.
