Tips for you

  • There are locals to store your things in, and you have the opportunity to shower both before and after your massage.
    Things to do
  • Before the massages they give you tea, a hot bean foot massage (heated dried mung beans in a straw tray that you rub your feet in, surprisingly relaxing), and after the massage a cold lemongrass/ginger drink.

We visited Ginger Spa after riding past on our bikes. We were initially just going in for a look but after our feet were put into baskets of warm mung beans we felt that it might be worth staying a while. We both got the Vietnamese massage which was professional and relaxing. There were even little fish in bowls on the floor when we poked our heads through the holes in the massage tables. We also both got a facial (me for the first time ever) which left us both feeling clean and refreshed. The steam bath was a big bonus also!! A wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

You get a discount when staying at Hoi An Chic! The only thing I'd say they can improve upon is providing refreshment drinks and fruits! The price is very reasonable after discount.
