Why Gerbera Restaurant is special ?
Gerbera, once a small place tucked away behind Cau May, has taken over what was once the Pine Restaurant and delivers standard Vietnamese and Western fare but on a large covered terrace, which is a pleasant spot to set up shop for a while and enjoy the activity on Cau May from a safe distance.
The extensive menu includes breakfast (in Asian and Western style), starter, main courses and dessert, with outstanding specialties such as spring roll, sweet potatoes, Sapa poultry, seafood, BBQ pork, hot pot, chayote, tofu and many more. As recommended by most prestigious travel books, both the food and the services of Gerbera are great, while the price is very reasonable.

Tips for you
Nice place, fine food. It is good to take a lunch set. Recomended. Try the Sapa Salmon in Lemon & Butter and Sapa Goose in Honey. Skip the dessert.
Just had dinner at the Gerbera - it was really good and also reasonably cheap. The most expensive part of the meal was my wife's pinacolada! We had Vietnamese spring rolls followed by a local duck dish and a local pork dish - all were very good. The thing that surprised us was that no one else was there - we were the only customers. The restaurant is a little bit off the Main street sitting above the street - it used to have extensive views but these have been built out in recent times. We would certainly go back - it is definitely a good place for a meal
