I was there for the Arsenal FC Asia tour. they played against Indonesia Dream Team.atmosphere was awesome and had a great time.Ground is huge and a good addition to JKT. but for a football game seating is too far from the action as it has a track, the stadium is used for track n field events also.

Inside Senayan Sport Complex consist of Soccer stadium, Swimming pool, Basket Hall, and Istora building. Build in 60's during Asian Games. Not all the facility open for public in case the building was used only for National/ International scale sports or music even. In despite of, it was famous because its wide open area public park. Especially in sunday, many Jakartans spend time here for jog or others sports with his fam. Around this complex many shopping mals, hotels, and eating place. The location right in the centre of Jakarta, in the middle of bussines district. Surrounded by trees, make it so green, and cozy place to relax in a crowded Jakarta. Just try to watch Soccer game in this Stadium ( also known as home for Persija and his ultras fanatic supporters Jakmania), you will find great athmosphere and truly incredible experience that you couldnt find in any other stadium in the world. Beware, in the nite the place was quite dark, and hard to find a cab.
