Dishing out more insider tips: Must never miss the Home-style Potato Crisps at Formo, sweet, salty and spicy at the same time. Definitely a favorite of many.
Must try Formo's specialty drink: The FORMO Mojitos- in original, lychee, orange, apple, mango and the newest flavor on the Mojitos menu: Raspberry to commemorate Pink October.
The music starts at 9pm---but go early and eat their steak---very good meals---we know the young chef--excellent for the money
if you're the laid back night owl stuck in a night life of loud music and buzz, formo is place for a classy and exclusive night out. with it's relax and cozy ambiance, good for a few drinks and cocktails in between chitchats with friends, plus a cool selection of un-pop music, this place is only for those with pristine taste for a night life. the bar has a wide range of cocktails at a reasonable price. their finger food menu is also appetizing that you get to order a lot. it's good for sharing with a small group of friends. cebu's a-list often hangout at this place, making it good for people who want to 'see' and 'be seen'. on saturday's, 80s music is on, driving away all those underage pop seekers and keeping it to the yuppies and able.
I went to this club in May. 2010.The music is good and the atmosphere is good. It had a 1990s disco music theme for a Saturday night. The crowd was quite upmarket for Cebu and generally this club didnt have the same Noise level (there were places where you could stand and talk and not get the drowned in loud music). I didnt try any food. The drinks were considered expensive by Cebu standards but that was expected. What concerned me was the security at this place is all but useless. The security it seems is not for patrons or people but for god knows what? it seems all too common among the drinking establishments eg. Mango where when Glass and bottles are thrown at other patrons the security and staff stand around glassy eyed themselves and do nothing. Basically, all i see what happened (see below) from observation is that I can throw a bottle at someone and no one will do a thing and just walk off - Ive seen it at Mango Square but I didnt think I'd see it at Formo. The Indicident:What happened was a group of people began arguing and what ensued were two people who threw a glass and a couple of bottles of beer at the person they had a grievance with. At no stage did any security from Formo intervene. Whats more concerning was the security at Banilad Town Centre stood by and watched. Whats even more concerning is that the security nor the staff at Formo took any details or made any attempt to stop the altercation that was happening. The staff after some moments lined up and ushered these people out into the carpark area but there was no intervention. The security let the offenders (who threw the glass walk off to their vehicles), the verbal abuse by the perpetrators was alowd to continue unabated.Guys! this is assault. This is grievous bodily harm. Don't you realise that in the UK and Australia there has been a strong rise in glassings in those countries? You (Formo) and BTC security let the perpetrators walk away? You did nothing? You stood around Glassy eyed as though you needed a nights rest and Did Sweet [--] all. From what i could see the security there is there to protect one thing.. the buildings ..Not the patrons that visit Formo. Formo is a ticking time bomb it seems. If im the subject of assault there I know who will NOT HELP ME and thats FORMO and BTC security itself. So much for your pistols you strap on your belts guys.. when did you last use those or are they for show?As a male, yes, I would go here
