Why Family Room is special ?

Family Room Cafe, formerly Specialty Coffee in Maldives, is one of Hulhumale's best kept secrets; the Family Room offers premium specialty coffee from Five Senses in Australia to Common Man Coffee in Singapore. The pursuit of excellence can be seen from the precise process followed by the Resident Barista. There's no expense is spared in pursuing the perfect cup of coffee, including flying in fresh milk from Sri Lanka on a weekly basis. If you have only a couple of hours to kill in Hulhumale or if you want a nice place to hang out, you must stop by the Family Room for the perfect cuppa.

How to get to Family Room?

To visit Hulhumale from Male, take the ferry (Rf5.50, 20 minutes, every 15 minutes) from the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal. There's also a speedboat service (Rf25, 10 minutes, every 30 minutes) that leaves from the dock where the airport ferry departs. From the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal, you can take local bus to Main Bus station or N2 Bus Stop 6, Family Room is located on Dhigga Magu.

Friendly, well trained staff. Can tell you lots more about the product that everybody loves. They share the origin and history of coffee around the world. This shop has the equipment to make it a pleasure in watching the coffee making process. The shop is well situated, with a changing view over the beach. Air-conditioned room with many coffee decorations are supporting the hospitality and at home feeling . An oasis with background music where I have seen groups of friends sharing live over a cup of their choice. A cup off the best coffee or tea is awaiting you with a smile. Thank you Jordan, the product is so good that the donation box is becoming very small.
