Spent a week with the great people at Eureka recently. The location was excellent (literally a stone's throw from the royal palace and 5 min by TukTuk from Central Market), they have trusted TukTuks out front that you can count on to give you a fair deal, and are happy to call a taxi if you need to go to the airport or just want some AC to wherever you go. The rooms were well appointed, comfortable mattresses, decent showers and minibars with whatever you need. Toothbrushes and other bits were replaced daily. The towels kind of sucked, but if you bring a pool towel to your room, you can avoid that issue. The staff were all so kind and helpful, most spoke excellent english and were able to point us in the right direction. The aforementioned pool was fantastic at the end of a hot day. Their buffet for breakfast was simple but had fresh croissants, bread, and the meal choices were adequate. Their offerings off the lunch/dinner menu were spectacular. If you go, do not miss the Plantation restaurant next door, some of the best food I have had in Asia (local specialties to home-made Fois Gras). When I come back to Cambodia, I will certainly stay with Eureka again.
