You can taste the seafood is fresh. A bit hot since its completely outdoors, but covered in case of sudden rain. Food averages 150thb per dish, so quite cheap for a seat down menu restaurant.

Really great authentic Thai food in a place where you can mostly only find crappy westernised overpriced stuff that hardly qualifies as food. We ate here two days in a row, great menu at decent prices for ao nang. Couple of things to keep in mind. A) There's only one woman cooking the food, so it will take a while before you get your food. If you're going to sit there and are not able to talk to your family or friends, you'll have a tough 30 minutes before your food arrives :-) B) In Asia it's common to share dishes, so you won't get everything you order at once. Instead, you'll get one dish first, that you enjoy with your friends or family, after which you get a second one etc. It is really not common to 'each have their own dish', so don't do that. Go to a tourist trap for that. I saw some people being disappointed the food didn't come together and one person eating one dish while the other person waited. Sad to see, but they're clearly in the wrong place. C) Only negative thing is that the drinks are overpriced at the same price of a dish (150 for a large beer is too much!) - take a couple of sodas from the 7-11 across the street and you'll be fine though. All in all definitely worth going! Enjoy :-)
