Why Duy Hai Fishing Village is special ?

Duy Hai is a village of about 2,000 people at the mouth of the Thu Bon River. Villagers’ livelihoods are based on catching and processing fish for shipment to China. After a short ferry trip, you will see the fishermen bring in their catch from a night at sea on the river delta. Spend several hours in the village, wandering along the shoreline as the catch is being brought in from the fishing fleet. Join in their fish market and pop into a small business which makes fish sauce from fermented anchovies, witness how locals smoke and dry the fish.
