“Stations of the Cross on Vung Tau island” The statue of Mary and Child is worth a visit to a part of Vung Tau island which tourists rarely see. The large white statue is half way between Front Beach and the fishing village. Give yourself a few hours to check out this attraction. The gardens of this Catholic church are immense and very beautiful. The feature of the property is not Mary and Child, but the Stations of the Cross which follow steps that wind high up the side of Big Mountain. Remember to take your camera: the statues are very intricate and the views magnificent.
