Why Dragon Hill Spa is special ?
The Dragon Hill Spa is an all-inclusive health and relaxation complex that is seven-stories high. On the underground level, there is an indoor golf range, a PC room and a video room. On the 1st floor, there is a common jjimjilbang area, an outdoor pool, a food court, a children’s playroom, etc. The women’s sauna is on the 2nd floor, and the women’s jjimjilbang, massage, and esthetics, and locker room are on the 3rd floor. The 4th floor has a fitness center. On the 5th floor is the men’s sauna and locker room. The 6th floor has another men’s sauna and co-ed rooms for napping and resting. The rooftop has a barbeque, a cinema, and a garden.

A few friends and I visited Dragon Hill while vacationing in Korea during June 2013. The spa was very nice, with plenty of saunas to bake in. We also ate at the restaurant, which had many refreshing options. The only reason I didn't give Dragon Hills a 5 is because of how many unsupervised children were sitting all over the place. It seemed like a place to drop your kids off for daycare instead of a professional spa.
Excellent excellent experience!! Been reading lots of jjimjilbang experience and couldnt wait to try it during our trip. The place is just beside Yongsan station, but the way the entrance is located and with neon lighted signages from other saunas, we almost missed it. Exit from exit 1 of Yongsan, turn right, cross road and walk toward this carpark entrance and once you reach, turn left, and u will see a nice narrow entry with rows of bamboo to lead you to the main reception.A mandarin speaking staff is very nice and asked whether it was out first time and nicely explained the procedure and location to shower, locker, etc. She even brought us to the ladies changing area to show us the specifically where the places are. The place is brightly lit and place is really clean. we were given tee and short to wear and a small towel. We were really shy abt being nude and walk abt and my 8 yr old gal kept asking, Mummy, are we really going to walk around naked? But after seeing quite a few naked ladies and their kids walking minding their own business, we overcome our shyness and started to enjoy every bit while inside. There wer like 10 big heated pools inside the shower / sauna area and another 3 outdoor pools. It was raining abit that day, so we only went out to dip a while and went indoor. My gal was jumping from one pool to another and didnt wanne leave! The scrub and massage is amazing! The ahjummahs in black bra and undies line up in a row of 8 and there were lot of others waiting for their turn to be srubbed and massaged by them. Skill is amazing. The 1.5 hrs session is really worth! My gal and I spend abt 3 hrs just inside the shower and sauna area.Snack are limited, so we tried the traditional jjimjilbang beverage, sikhye, and are roasted eggs. Sikhye is nice, but eggs were chewy. The heated and cold rooms are fun too. As we were running out of time, we only went in and out to take pics. In total we spend abt 4 hrs in the spa and that is really not enough!! Fun! Must Try.
