Why Dragon Beach Bar & Lounge is special ?
Dragon Beach tends to be the late night place that everyone gravitates to in Mui Ne, although it is open during the day and the comfy beds and lounge areas make it a good place for sunset drinks and chillaxing with a good book. It has two different areas to choose from with two different DJ’s playing most nights. The inside area plays mainly commercial music with comfy lounge areas bordering the large dance floor and DJ booth.
It’s here you will find a mish mash of partying souls looking for their significant other with young trendy Vietnamese making the journey from Phan Thiet and backpackers sloshing around with coloured buckets of liquid fun, all to the sounds of DJ Lee N, Dragon’s resident tune player.

Tips for you
Came here with 5 friends on the recommendation of our local taxi driver - as we had tried 'joes cafe' and 'VXS beach club'..and both these other bars were essentially dead and had zero atmosphere despite relatively cheap drinks. This is my second time to Mui Ne and it has never been a huge 'party town', however with the construction of the new backpacker Village there is a changing demographic starting to come to Mui Ne. Dragon bar had an awesome outdoor atmosphere, clearly the main place for backpackers, there were heaps of comfy seats/beds/couches dotted along the edge of the beAch, the music was good, the happy hour of '2 for 1' was good during 10-11pm and the service and wifi were good too. For a Monday night, I stayed until they closed at 3am and had a great time.
Nice for a sunset beer right on the sea. The place seemed nice but we were the only people in there, maybe it gets lively later on? Chilled though and gorgeous view.
