This restaurant, Dotonbori Imaihonten, is located right in the middle of the busy Dotonbori area. It has a simple, traditional Japanese facade. Together with my friends, we tried lunch at this place. This is not really your cheapest Japanese gastronomic experience (we tried cheaper restos), but prices were still reasonable. We ordered their sumptuous Oyako-don, a Japanese rice bowl dish with chicken, egg, & other ingedients. It was really great! The staff were also helpful & prompt. The restaurant is also clean & organized. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try Japanese cuisine in the Dotonbori area.
