This museum is located at the exit of the Black Dragon Pool Park and not at the entrance as mentioned by one reviewer. Its about 3 meter directly in front of the exit and you won't missed it. There is no entrance fees to enter the museum. The museum of the Naxi Dongba Culture is only recommended for those who are interested in its culture. The display and artefacts are well arrange and documented in English. It gives an insight of the Naxi culture, their religious beliefs and also their impressive pictorial language. It takes about an hour to go through the display and definitely very informative to understand the Naxi culture, one of the few minorities in Yunnan Province.

Well worth a visit. Quite small but packed with interesting information and artifacts. We were offered a guide on arrival and her tour was extremely informative and added to the experience. There is the almost obligatory buying oppotunity at teh end of teh tour, however it is not a hard sell as in other place. Buy a good wish from the shaman!
