It's 2 months since i've been back from a trip with 7 top blokes and 2 excellent guides around Western Cambodia.I've grown up with MX bikes and feel at peace with the world when i'm riding. This was one of the best experiences i've had. Most Europeans will understand that when we ride across Europe we have restrictions. A lot of people don't like to share our vast countryside with bikes so we often ride sheepishly so we don't upsets anyone. In Cambodia everyone loved us. It was a wonderful feeling when all the children would run to the edge of the road and wave to us.Sand is my favourite terrain. It makes me laugh to myself like when you're at the scariest point of a roller coaster. Good for me that the first 3 days were glorious sand ! 4th day was mainly clay roads that are fantastic for drifting. Show me a man of any age who won't do that without the biggest grin beaming out of his helmet !The best and most euphoric was day 5 through the mountains. I just had goose bumps as i wrote that. At the end of the day i had so much adrenalin pumping through me that i thought i could take on the world !Paeng was a fantastic bloke who looked after us like Mum would. Get fit though. This trip's fun factor is measurable to fitness !Thanks Sonia and Paeng. You'll be see us again I promise !!!!
I'll keep this short and sweet, Dancing Roads were fantastic! I have been looking for a trip like this for a few years and finally my brother said "let do it" so we booked a kind of custom trip, and after a few emails back and forward with Sonia, away we went! Paeng our guide really looked after us and knew what we wanted, we had all sorts of different trails, great riding, awesome food, a few adventures and we even managed to get in a few beers with Paeng's many friends along the way. He had a great sense of humour too and excellent English, as well as a great passion for his country. Accommodation was really good, the bikes were really good (we had the WR450s). Based on our experiences you can't go wrong with these guys. Just do it! Copy?Tom and Sam Hazlett
Spent 5 days travelling south Cambodia with some of the most challenging and fun off-road riding I have ever done in my life. Was well looked after at every point, top bikes well maintained, first class accommodation and even making sure us Aussie fellas didn't eat the wrong things. When you go with Dancing Roads you're going with the best and will not be disappointed. Go for it!
Just a quick e-mail to thank you for a truly memorable week, consisting of brilliant riding, remote, exotic locations, life affirming experiences and most of all, fabulous company with the effervescent team of Mr Paeng and his motley crew. I'm already making plans to come back and see you as soon as I can, Cambodia and I have unfinished business... To anyone reading this who might be considering signing up for a tour with Dancing Roads, I've been on motorcycle tours all over the world and this is right up there as far as an adventure goes. My advice is don't hesitate any longer, just book it up, you'll not regret it. (In retrospect, I wish I had stayed on the tour with you through the Cardamoms. Next time....) Very best wishes and thank you again.
