Why Dac san Tran – Tran Restaurant is special ?
Dac san Tran is famous in Da Nang mostly for its Banh trang cuon thit heo. Banh trang cuon thit heo, which is one of Da Nang’s three traditional culinary dishes, has made it into the list of Vietnamese specialities. It is a nutritious food with fresh ingredients - pieces of rolled belly pork, a variety of fresh vegetables and herbs, along with thin slices of cucumber, green bananas, and a dipping sauce.
In addition to Banh trang cuon thit heo, the Tran restaurants also serve other local foods, including My Quang (Quang Noodles), Bun mam thit quay (vermicelli with roasted pork and salted fish), Banh trang dap (crushed rice paper), and Banh beo (round-cakes). The vegetables are bought from Da Lat, Hoi An and Da Nang. Furthermore, various dipping sauces, suitable for the tastes of visitors from the north, south or central regions, are also provided.
They are all becoming popular and favourite dishes with both local residents and visitors because of their special flavours and processing methods at the Tran restaurants.

Tips for you
Food was very good with reasonable price. But it was not our impression about this restaurant, we was really impressed by service, staff was really friendly and helpful. They welcome us from the main entrance to the parking area. Service staff was amazing, excellent service. Highly recommended..
Ate here a few days ago with two friends when we asked our hotel staff member where he eats. Caught a taxi and were dropped off on main road immediately out front of a lane that leads down to the restaurant. In looking at other reviews it seems a bit hit and miss but our meal was a hit! Yes it's busy and full of locals, it's noisy fast and furious. You're in Vietnam so embrace it and go with the flow. Our waitress showed the menu and took our orders. Drinks came without a fuss and we ordered the house speciality which is a huge plate of mixed herbs, salad leaves, cucumber and green banana slices. This is served with your choice of thinly sliced pork or beef or elongated cubes of roast pork. We ordered a plate of sliced pork and one of roast pork between 3 and was plenty of food. You grab a dry rice paper and stick a damp piece of rice noodle to it. Fill with fresh herbs and condiments and add your pork then roll it up and you're ready to dip. Just a WARNING to tourists the dipping sauce on our plate was extremely spicy with a lot of chili. We asked for another with more sugar added but was still hot. Try asking for a dipping sauce with no chili and you should be fine. Finished up with some refreshing watermelon which was nice to cleanse the palate. I would recommend to try if you are in Da Nang a number of nights. Price was about $5 a person x 3.
