If you are going to visit the Monastery make sure that you take a guided tour so that you can learn about how and why the Monastery was built, the buildings surrounding the Monastery and also get a view into the areas of the Monastery closed to the public. The guides are very knowledgeable and willing to share their knowledge for those willing to listen. Stunning views also. Please respect their request of no shorts and no talking in certain areas - so many people were disrespectful. Personally I found the place to be very beautiful and quite moving and I am not of Buddhist belief. I would definitely recommend and also the vegetarian restaurant nearby. Delicious.

The place was really crowded with tour groups and some of the people are just be irresponsible to step on the grass even though a sign board was set up. You need to be quick for taking pictures. We did not go all the way up to see the figures face to face but still managed to see them. A place worth to visit.
