Why Chun Shui Tang (Taipei Nanjing Branch) is special ?
Chun Shui Tang is one of the few favorite venues for a session of Chinese tea within the few regions of Taiwan. With a couple of establishments scattered across the city of Taipei, we chanced upon one of her outlets situated Nanjing East Road as we had intended to pay a visit to the vastly popular Li Zhi Confectionary for some of their all so- famous Taiwanese pastries.
Albeit specializing in wide-ranging varieties of teas, Chui Shui Tang offers an extensive selection of finger food, Dim Sum items and staple food as well as many other traditional Chinese dishes for any meal throughout the day.
Akin to the layout of an oriental Japanese teahouse refurbished with contemporary touches, Chun Shui Tang is an exquisitive set-up that represents the embodiment of a serene setting for intimate chats, close gatherings or quiet reflection. Very much to our delight, my family was ushered to a cozy corner beside the glass windows that overlooked a small park located next to the restaurant.

Tips for you
I was staying at United Hotel, Taipei and asked hotel staff for good bubble tea. They said next door across the street. So off we (me and wifey) went into this shop for supper. Ordered set NT200 (very reasonable) and I got a bowl of noodle, a glass of bubble milk tea, braised tofu and egg and winter melon soup. Must say the noodle was really really good. Bubble milk tea was excellent. Tofu and egg were wonderful. Winter melon soup was hot and really nice on a wet cold night. Funny thing was I was asked to pay at counter first before they served me. Not sure if this is their SOP or they are trying to bully me.
