Tips for you

  • From 4:30p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday to Friday both courts are reserved for members and their guests only. Should check before you go
    Timming
  • The course has narrow, tree lined fairways that demand accuracy off the tee and good iron play. This is not an easy course as so many mature trees can block the line of shot
    Other
  • Whether on the court playing, or outside waiting to play, try to keep the noise level down. Loud conversation can be both distracting and annoying to players.
    Other
  • Players must dress appropriately. Only heelless soft-soled running shoes are permitted on the courts
    What to wear
  • The green fee is far cheaper than other courses in the area and so gives good value for 9 or 18 holes

  • Price: Tennis Information Tennis Fees Court (per hour) - 120 Baht Guest playing with a member - 80 Baht Lighting - per court per hour - 40 Baht

This is a Golf Club first, but they also have two tennis courts which are in reasonable shape. Non members can reserve a court at 120 Bhat for one hour and rent racquets for 50 Bhat/person/hour. The rental racquets were not great, but they allowed us to play. They also rent balls, but they are well past their prime so we opted to buy our own at a sports store (also available at the clubhouse, but about double the price). Coach Anna was a member of Thailand’s national team, speaks very good English and gave us excellent instruction for a reasonable price. The club can put you in touch with her. After tennis we enjoyed a beverage on the lovely clubhouse terrace overlooking the golf course and a beautiful old tree.

This place is apparently the oldest golf club in Asia, and there's a beautiful old tree on the property. I went here for an event, and the food service could not have been worse. First, they messed up two drink orders. Then I ordered deep friend squid, which I assumed would be fresh or have squid meat, but no, it was squid chips, the kind you buy in a bag on the side of the road. Then I ordered Tom Yum soup "a little spicy" and got full-on fire. Finally, they served my friends potato-based dish Shepherd's Pie with a side of mashed potatoes, which was more funny than anything else. Don't eat here.

This place has one of the largest raintrees I have ever seen. Really nice to have a meal/drink on the wooden terrace or under the raintree and watch the golfers coming in from the 9 hole golf course. The club also has tennis courts and squash courts.
