Why Chao Phraya River is special ?
The Chao Phraya begins at the confluence of the Ping and Nan rivers at Nakhon Sawan (also called Pak Nam Pho) in Nakhon Sawan Province. Cities along the Chao Phraya include Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Singburi, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi, Bangkok, and Samut Prakan, listed from north to south. These cities are among the most historically significant and densely populated settlements of Thailand due to their access to the waterway.
This scenic river, flowing through the heart of Bangkok, offers convenient boat transportation and sightseeing cruises since many of the major city attractions are easily accessible from various points along this waterway.

Reviews
Bangkok city is famous with her clean and wellbuilt riverside/canal. The big river in Bangkok is Chao Phraya. You can rent a boat nearby the port river.. and it was not so expensive.. You can see and enjoy the beauty of Bangkok, Grand Royal Palace and Bangkok bridge, etc., from the boat. And in certain banks of the river/canal, you can buy food to feed the fish inside the river.. available floating store food fish there..
Always try their river taxis and rate starts at 3 baht per person. Only 6 passengers allowed in front of the boat for picture taking and that should last for 5 minutes only.
