For those of you with carnivorous soul looking for Karo Style BBQ which includes many parts of pork (BPK stands for Babi Panggang Karo or Karo's BBQ Pork), please stop by at BPK Tesalonika at Jamin Ginting Road (its a long road actually but you won't miss this place and if you ask to local people, they will show you the place, quite famous too). The Food. Try Pork BBQ or "Panggang", there's a selections for portion size but just select the medium one, and if you want more just order another plate. The Pork Ribs were BBQ-ued to perfection. If they're available, try to order "Nira" for your drinks. Nira is like coconut water but from Nira fruit. If you fermented it, it will become "Tuak". Its refreshing. Otherwise, just order Ice Tea, Markisa (Passionfruit) Juice or Terong Belanda (Tamarillo if I'm not mistaken) Juice. Price? I once eat there with 3 other people ordering at least 6 portion of meat and rice, drinks for 4 people and only cost me less than Rp. 200.000,-. Enjoy your meat guys!
