Why Bintang Walk is special ?

Bukit Bintang  stylized as Bintang Walk or Starhill  is the shopping and entertainment district of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It encompasses Bukit Bintang Road and its immediate surrounding areas. The area has long been Kuala Lumpur's most prominent retail belt that is home to many landmark shopping centres, al-fresco cafés, swanky bars, night markets, as well as hawker-type eateries. This area is popular among tourists and locals, especially among the youths. A part of Bintang Walk is designated as an "Arab Street".

Bukit Bintang - KLCC Pedestrian Walkway is a 1.173km-long pedestrian bridge that connects Pavilion KL to Impiana KLCC Hotel and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The other portion of this walkway is a pedestrian tunnel on the convention centre’s concourse level linked to Suria KLCC shopping centre.

What to explore at Bintang Walk?

Jalan Bukit Bintang offers endless choices when it comes to after-dark entertainment. Many restaurants here are equipped with a bar that comes into full swing at night, and many hotels lining the street also have their own trendy watering holes and nightclubs.

Karaoke lounges can be found in abundance here, many of which also offer private rooms, entertaining patrons well into the night no matter which day of the week it is.

With the Bukit Bintang-KLCC Pedestrian Walkway people can travel safely, conveniently and comfortably on foot from Bukit Bintang all the way to the Kuala Lumpur city centre.

From the Bukit Bintang-KLCC Pedestrian Walkway you can see the KL City Walk, a 1,200ft-long F&B, retail and entertainment strip located between the KL Convention Centre and Jalan P. Ramlee. Photo enthusiasts will be glad to know that the bridge offers some pretty good views of the KL city centre’s architecture.

There is everything to shop around, and in fact, you will also find everything to eat and drink. Start the walk in the afternoon, and no one gets tired, even by the end of the night. It is the most happening place in the city.
