What’s better to do with your kids than taking a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of something they love?
Calling all chocoholics – it’s time to gather and witness the making of those chocolate bars you’ve been having some serious crush on.
You can do so at this perfect and exclusive place, which is also known as one of Bali’s hidden farms.
Take the one-hour tour to watch your favorite ‘substance’ being transformed from beans to bars.
The kids will love this place too – the unique structure of this factory isn’t something to miss.
In fact, CNN even named this world’s largest commercial bamboo structure as a bamboo cathedral!
What to explore at Big Tree Farms Bamboo Chocolate Factory?
Starting the tour with our favorite drink Coco Mojo, guests will be introduced to our products as well as provided a sampling of our cold-processed cacao. The tour consists of viewing the machinery used to make several of the products including Coconut Nectar and Chocolate. The cathedral/factory holds many classes and hosts local events - a must-stop destination for any foodie visiting the area, and a must-see for anyone intrigued by building structure. Big Tree Farms is currently the largest commercial structure made of bamboo in the world. Watch here as CNN tours during our construction and interviews Founder Ben Ripple. NY times visited us closer to completion and published an article which can be read here. Want to see the construction in action as we were able to capture? Check out our Facebook photo albums which chronicle this amazing, sustainable, and beautiful feat.
