Tips for you
I stayed pretty close to Berjaya Times Square and I visited this mall quite frequently since I used to Imbi Monorail station quite often. Honestly speaking the outlook of the building can easily deceive you as being a very high end shopping mall but honestly everyone will find something to buy in here. The building not only serves as a mall but it has hotels, car parking (you can rent for weeks or months too), a small theme park for the kids. There are brand shops on the upper story floors as well. I also used the cyber cafe on level 8 which is basically a gaming zone but at least it served my purpose.
One of my favorite malls for clothes!!! I've actually bought many pieces of clothing here and if you know how and where to look, there are a lot of hidden gems around. I often find people claiming that Bangkok is the city of cheap, trendy clothes but I personally feel that what you can buy in Bangkok, you can get here too - minus the airfare and hotel cost! This is as good as shopping in Bangkok as I believe the clothes here are of similar price and as fashionable as in Bangkok. The first few times I came looking for clothes to buy here, I was flabbergasted by the amount of shops they have. So for the first few visits, I didn't really get anything. But after a few times, I got used to the layout and I started finding really cute clothing at good prices. Other than clothes, Times Square is also home to many different types of cafes and dessert shops. I do enjoy hunting for tidbits to eat in Tiny Taipei, a replica of, you guessed it, Taipei Taiwan. It is also home to an indoor theme park and a cinema. In terms of location, I would recommend taking the monorail as this place is always jammed up and finding parking places is going to be a hassle. One good thing is that the monorail station is connected right to Times Square on the 1st floor. Super convenient. This is one place I will not get bored of coming.
