Now, keep in mind that we live here and I don't necessarily recommend this for people just visiting Beijing. Beijing has plenty of fascinating cultural sights that will occupy most travelers for most of their time in the city. BUT, if you have extra time to spare, this can be a very fun outing. The park has replicas of famous monuments all throughout the world. It is frequently in photoshoots by wedding parties and by women in fancy dresses. We went during the summer and found the grounds themselves surprisingly shady and pleasant. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the cafeteria or food options available. I think it is probably best to bring your own food and drinks and picnic in the park. My kids really enjoyed scampering from replica to replica and it was full of very fun people-watching opportunities. As long as you keep your expectations modest, I think this is an enjoyable outing.

I loved it so much! Lots of important world sites coppied persicely 1:10. It was a big WOW. Most important bridges of the world. All five continents. Lovely. Great experience. Something for the builders: Please add other places from Israel besides the El-Akza. Please remember that Jerusalem is a seacred place also to christians and Jews and not only to muslems as you wrote on the sign. I would like to see a christian holly place from Jerusalem as well as a Jewish one. Thank you.
