it opens around 7-8pm at the location from Golden Sands to Rasa Sayang. very cheap items on sale, until 12-1am where they close down. unimaginable items on sale here. do check out the whole length before intending to buy, as prices may vary greatly for the same thing. recommended items: imitation watch, souvenirs, imitation bags, accessories for ladies, shawls, scarves, pashmina, swimwear, beachwear, CDs, tshirts, hair accessories, pewter items, unique boxes, etc etc etc. whatever you buy, do bargain. unless it is 3 for rm10, or 4 for rm10, or 3 for rm15, then its the cheapest already and the traders will get irritated if you bargain further. hand made shoes are also available as well as cheap cheongsams.

Got a few bargains if you know what you're looking for. Typical atmosphere with any market place with people hassling you to "come in and look, I'm still waiting" " its good quality, it will not be here tomorrow" There are plenty of Restuarants in between shops to refresh. It's the only night light shopping worth going to every night

being right outside our hotel we went to this market basically every night.its a very big market and goes a fair way down the street, and they sell some pretty unique things. Some of the stall holders will pester you but no more than in other markets, they actually pester you less than in places such as thailand. The shop owners were very aware of security and police presence at stalls selling DVDs and we were even taken into a back alleyway to pay for the dvds, but not in a dangerous way, only to pay away from prying eyes. They may not still sell dvds however because of the high risk involved.the prices arent all that cheap like those in vietnam or thailand, but they sell a greater selection than we have seen at other markets. We'd usually have dinner, go to the market and then get a foot massage after the long walk around! perfect :D
