Why Banh Mi - Mrs Lan's Bread is special ?
The bread most commonly found in Vietnam is a single serving baguette, therefore the term bánh mì is synonymous with this type of bread. The bánh mì is usually more airy than its Western version, with a thinner crust.
Da Nang has become an ideal destination growing in popularity recently. Beside its cleanness, greenness and beauty, local specialty is another important factor that contributes to the development in tourism of Da Nang. Bánh Mì is considered one of Da Nang’s specialties.
What to explore at Banh Mi - Mrs Lan's Bread?
Bánh Mì Bà Lan has been well-known in Danang for over 30 years. Bánh Mì Bà Lan includes 2 stalls: one at 62 Trung Nu Vuong street and one at 64 Trieu Nu Vuong street. It’s so good and famous that there’re already numerous ‘fake’ banh mi Ba Lans everywhere to derive the brand name, therefore, you should be aware of that. Although both stalls are always crowded, they only opens daily from 4 p.m to 11 p.m. The rest time in the morning is for purchasing and processing freshest ingredients, especially beef and pork.
Banh Mì Ba Lan is always full and decent: the first is a thick layer of paste, the next is a thin layer of mayonnaise made with egg, then a layer of cold meat, chả, basil, cilantro, green peppers and a piece of green onion and a little of pepper and salt.
