Place is open Tue-Sun, for lunch (from noon, but doors open about 11:30) and dinner (after 6). Location is first shop on Bishop St from Weld Food Court end. Service was wonderful, esp from Auntie Gaik Lean herself. We had the mixed platter to start, consisting of Loh Bak, deep-fried vegie, acar,+. Next we had kiam chai arh (salted vegie duck soup) followed by Joo hoo char. Then tamarind prawns and assam fish. All items were fresh and tasty. Pricing was neither high nor low.

As this restaurant was refurbished from colonial-era buildings, the dining section is quite spacious, very unlike those newly developed commercial lots which are miserably narrow..
