I've been to Anthem three times and I must say not a single trip has disappointed! It's a great place to check out some wakeboarding whether you are a beginner or a pro. I'm actually a boat-rider but I've thoroughly enjoyed the cable experience - there are more surface tricks you can work on.On the left hand side they have a system 2.0 to allow young kids (or adults too!) to get started; on the right hand side they have the larger system for armateur and pros alike to practise all sorts of surface and air tricks. Their cables are higher than average which is great for air tricks if that's what you're after. They have a variety of obstacles, so whatever you level, you'll be sure to find something that challenges you!Oh, and if you're lucky you may spot some of the best riders and world champions from the international wake competitions! I myself have met some of the pro-riders in person. Having said that, the air is generally quite relaxed and the culture there is very open. They have an alfresco type of cafe where riders just chill and mingle in between breaks or after riding. It's an awesome place to make friends.Yok and Rebecca are stationed at the park to look after all the guests and to answer any technical questions. Rebecca is a great teacher and looks after the kids really well - so if you're a family trying this out with kids, look out for her! Anthem also has an adorable dog called TinTin which has just about the best life for any dogs on earth - she goes on a ride with Yok and Rebecca on the board every so often, so if you're going at the right time of the day you may be able to see some of that action!Overall, I'm a big fan and will look to return. Hope you guys will have fun there as well!

The wakeboard place in Asia!!! Spent several times already at Anthem and watched it grow from its first steps and it only got better and better! The cable is pretty high and has a great pull, the obstacles provide a good variety and the people are super friendly...Go and find out yourself how cool this place is!

I came to Phuket and stumbled on Anthem. Had never tried wake boarding before so I decided to give it a try. The staff was extremely friendly and laid back, felt at ease with them and they provided great advice for a beginner like myself. In no time I was able to do the full rotation and saw the great view offered from the vantage point of the third turn. Highly recommended for those willing to give wake boarding a try and a good way to do something different in Phuket.
